Why Us
Ricoma's warranty lists rotary hooks and bobbin cases as consumables it does not cover. We check both whenever thread breaks or bird nests keep returning.

Questions
Needles that keep breaking on flat goods, not just caps, are a common sign, and Ricoma points to hook timing as the likely cause. Thread breaks that return after rethreading and a new needle, bird nests under the plate, and skipped stitches also call for a look, especially when routine maintenance has not cleared them. We confirm the cause before any timing repair is done.
You start with a free quote by phone or online, giving the model, the head count, and the symptoms. At your shop, we rule out threading, needles, and bobbin tension first, then inspect the hook, bobbin case, and trimmer on the heads at fault. We finish by running a test design on every head we repaired.
Local service costs $100 per hour with a 2-hour minimum. For shops more than a 45-minute drive from Buford, service costs $120 per hour, plus $65 per hour for driving time in both directions. The total depends on the work required. See our on-site service pricing for overnight and fly-in charges.
Yes, but warranty work on a covered machine should follow Ricoma's written terms, which route it through Ricoma's own representatives. Ricoma pays for its technician's travel only during a new machine's first 90 days. We are an independent repair business, not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Tajima, Barudan, Brother, Ricoma, BAI, or SIV. We also repair Tajima and Barudan machines.
Plan around the fault and the number of heads involved rather than a set time. A single-head Ricoma, like a Brother PR machine, usually needs a shorter visit than a Titan line, and a part on order adds time. The likely scope is discussed before the visit is booked.
We serve shops in Atlanta, Auburn, Braselton, Buford, Cumming, Dacula, Duluth, Flowery Branch, Lawrenceville, Mulberry, Norcross, Oakwood, Peachtree Corners, Sugar Hill, Suwanee, and Tucker. We also travel by road to nearby states and offer fly-in service nationwide. See our full service area for local coverage.
